Rod Cleaning

Hey everybody today I am going to talk about how I clean off the blanks and corks of my rods. The first thing I do when cleaning off the corks is I will wet them with room temperature water then I will put a little bit a dish soap and put it on the cork and then I will take a double sided sponge and use the coarse side to scrub down the cork. While I am scrubbing down the cork I will rinse off the built up soap, and I will scrub down the cork until most of the cork is clean. After the cork is clean I rinse off the cork really good so there is no leftover soap. Then when I clean off the blank I will use Windex and spray it up and down the blank and take a micro fiber cloth and clean all of the excess spray off the blank so it does not smear.
